Use tokens

Learn how to use tokens, which function as placeholders for different values, in Relais ILL.

Tokens are used in various places throughout Relais. For example when creating messages to be sent to requesters.

Tokens available

A Token is a label used to define specific data within the database.  It is used as a placeholder for different values.

For example, if you choose to add &Author; to the e-mail Subject line, the actual Author's name displays in the e-mail subject line when it is sent out.

Throughout Relais, the tokens listed in Table 1 are available for use.

Tokens must be followed by a semi-colon (;).
