Breadcrumb always visible

The default behavior of the CONTENTdm website is to show a structural breadcrumb on the item pages only in tablet and desktop screen sizes. When the window is small such as a phone/mobile view, the breadcrumb is disabled.

If you prefer to display the breadcrumb at all screen sizes,  alter the behavior using a single custom CSS rule as shown below. Once you’ve added this CSS rule to your site, the breadcrumb will appear on mobile phone screens as well as tablets and desktops.
