Setting default sorting for indexes
Symptom
- How can I change the default sorting of the search results
Applies to
- Folio results sorting.
- In Folio we have the default search options sorted by keyword and titles / author
- How can I change the ordering by default, so that for the keyword search option the results will be sorted by Relevance and the title / author search option sorted by Title?
Resolution
Short introduction or instructions to follow these steps:
- The default sort can be amended by setting “def_sort1”.
- Use the following codes: decode(style, "kws2", "rel", "tia")
