Deploy to Pre-production

Learn how to deploy a stanza change to pre-production using EZproxy configuration.

Deploying to pre-production (pre-prod) is the first step to deploying a change permanently to a Hosted EZproxy server. Configuration changes must be deployed to pre-prod before deploying to production.  

To deploy a stanza to pre-prod:

  1. Select Deployment Dashboard from the left navigation.
  2. Locate the modified stanza in the Deployment Dashboard table. The stanza must have an M in the Pre-prod column.
  3. Click Deploy to pre-prod to apply the change to the pre-prod Hosted EZproxy server.
    • A C will appear in the stanza's Pre-prod column.
    • The change will mark the item as deployable to the prod Hosted EZproxy server. To complete the deployment process for the stanza, it must be deployed to prod.
