Save and share reports and visualizations

Learn how to save and share reports and visualizations in EZproxy Analytics.

Share visualizations or dashboard objects

All visualizations and dashboards can be shared. To share your visualization navigate to the desired dashboard or visualization using the left navigation menu. Find your object in the list of saved objects.

Share options include:

  • Embed code: You can embed a fully interactive dashboard as iFrame code on a web page using one of two options: as a snapshot or as a saved object. Snapshot URLs encode the current state of the dashboard directly in the URL. Edits to the saved dashboard won’t be visible via this URL. Both options allow you to share a URL of the dashboard with individuals who have a valid EZproxy® Analytics account, enabling them to load the most up-to-date version of the dashboard.

  • Permalinks: This option lets you share a direct link to a Discover saved search, dashboard, or visualization. With this option you can also share the permalinks using one of two options: as a snapshot or as a saved object. You can also toggle to create a short URL, which is a shortened URL that redirects to the original longer permalink URL. This option also requires users to have a valid EZproxy® Analytics account.

  • PDF Reports: This option generates and downloads a PDF file of the dashboard or visualization.

  • PNG Reports: This option generates and downloads a PNG image file of a dashboard or visualization that you can include in an email or document.

For information about how to save and share your information see the Kibana Guide. Please note, this documentation is provided for reference only and is not supported by OCLC. The user interface and access points may look different from OCLC-supported EZproxy Analytics.
